Prayer Partners

Members of Prayer Partners pray for those in need. New requests for prayer and ongoing prayer for those with long-term illnesses or need are offered by those who volunteer and the lives of those who pray are blessed and enriched.

Prayer Ministry

 An Intercessory Telephone Prayer Chain of members who pray for those in need in the privacy of their own homes. A perfect choice for those who work, who are homebound or otherwise unable to attend a regular prayer meeting.

NEW an Intercessory email Prayer Chain. Anyone who has a computer and a praying heart can sign up on the list provided in the Narthex (or call the church at 239-768-21880). We need your name and email address. For more information, contact Glenna Goodwin. Two volunteers are needed to receive initial requests as they come in and then email volunteer members.

Prayer Breakfast

Every Tuesday at 7:30 a.m., a Prayer Breakfast is held to inspire and address the needs of other members. A perfect way to start the day or to begin your work day.

Secret Prayer Parents - Linda Benjamin, Coordinator

In today's world, youth of the church are particularly vulnerable to stress, temptation, and anxiety. Secret Prayer Parents is designed to support youths and their parents in an age of need.

Volunteer parents are assigned one youth to pray for on a daily basis. Volunteers also become a secret friend, offering encouragement, humor, and insight through cards, letters or small gifts on special occasions. A sample introductory card might look something like this:
